So we received another two feet of snow. I am utterly ecstatic. Really - no, I’m not. I hate snow. I never thought I would ever utter such words but, alas, I do. You see snow here eliminates my ability to escape, to go grocery shopping, to be free. Ever since I came to Virginia, I gathered this sense of confinement that I can’t shake. I suppose that’s due to my transition between a city world where cars were unnecessary to a world where cars are your solitary method of transportation. If you are here without a car, then you are lost.
I still have much to grow used to. Another thing I, apparently, have to get reacquainted with is my monthly visitor that has turned into my two week visitor. Oh, yes. Apparently, my body is compensating to expel the build up from years before. Oh. My. God. I am in AGONY. I NEVER had this much pain before. I don’t know what’s worse: this or getting contaminated.

Without further adieu..this week’s ingredient hosted by Heather at the Celiac Family..which happens to be:
Chocolate!
It’s quite ironic that chocolate is the chosen ingredient. Ever since I watched Chocolat, I’ve been obsessed with the Aztec styles of serving chocolate. I, myself, don’t consume much because I’m not a candy fan. Occasionally, I’ll throw in some cacao nibs here and there but that’ll be it. There will be chocolate here and there and maybe I’ll become inspired later on in the week; but, for now, I’ll just mosey along and hopefully catch up with myself, since I’m nearly three weeks behind.
Oh, and…

I meant to leave you a comment last week and tell you I like the redesign on your site. I find the black text on white much easier to read.
Sounds like a week of wonderful meals. That grilled salmon got my attention.
